Townes Van Zandt's Live at The Old Quarter was playing in the background this gloomy morning while I typed up work from last night. I checked my emails, and a friend sent this recent Doc Watson interview. Townes was a big Doc Watson fan. I think it's worth reading. This legendary 88-year old North Carolina guitarist somehow puts things in perspective...
