Notes from The Dashboard of My Pickup Truck

Posted: Feb 11, 2009

Greetings, fellow babies. Well, it's Wednesday, so that means one thing - Lost comes on tonight! Yeah, I am hooked. Ever since a friend loaned me the DVDs of seasons 1-3, then I watched Season 4, and now  I am actually caught up. Strange, and I like it. Hey, don't forget, I was a hugr fan of X-Files!

We have several great CDs lined up for review. Coming quite soon, Clay Cook's (former Marshall Tucker) mighty fine solo album; cartoonist/songwriter Guy Gilchrist; the new Flatlanders; brand new Rebel Pride and more.

Also coming very soon, our interviews with Rossington Collins Band drummer Derek Hess, as well as a collection of rare photos from his collection that you are gonna love; Mark Pucci, the noted publicist, on his life and career at Capricorn Records during the hey day; David Cantonwine, bassist for Eric Quincy Tate on the unsung musical heroes that were EQT, and the loss of two brothers within a few months; an interview with Silver Travis lead vocalist Rick Cash on the band's past, present and future; and more.

We are also working on Six Degrees of Swampland pages for The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Marshall Tucker Band. Stay tuned. Thanks for reading.

Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

flashing lights says...

With the development of illuminative technology, lights have become more functional for communication and signaling. A strobe light is one of the most used lighting systems for various reasons. It is a lighting signal, an entertainment light and tons of more purposes. A strobe light is very powerful and it is a truly amazing light source. For emergency lighting, a police light is a powerful flash that signifies the people on the road to give the ambulance or the police car the right of way. This is an efficient lighting that releases bright flashing lights. These lights are very hard to miss and so this is perfect for emergency vehicles to use, such as police light and emergency light.
