Bloodkin's Colorado Acoustic Run & Post-Panic Electric Evening at the 40-Watt Club

Posted: Jan 28, 2011

Bloodkin’s Colorado Run & Post-Panic 40-Watt Show

Widespread Panic kicks off their '25 Year Anniversary Tour' in their hometown of Athens, Georgia, on February 10th & 11th. Panic’s musical cohorts, Bloodkin, will perform a Post-Panic show at the legendary 40-Watt Club on February 10. This will be an evening of soulful, cutthroat rock & roll at its finest…

Bloodkin’s Daniel Hutchens co-wrote “True to My Nature”, a song on Widespread Panic’s latest studio album Dirty Side Down. Bloodkin is currently in Colorado playing a few acoustic shows. Tonight they’re rocking the Old Town Pub in Steamboat Springs. Hutchens is currently preparing a Bloodkin box set spanning their three-decade history as well as recording new songs.

Bloodkin represent one of the last great timeless songwriting rock & roll bands, which is why Panic covered their tunes. Bloodkin always appealed to the real heavies in Athens like the Drive By Truckers, David Barbe, John Keane and William Tonks.
See you there…
