Great New Music: Toler Townsend Band and Preacher Stone

Posted: May 02, 2010

I sure hope everyone is having a great weekend. As for me and my puppy dog, we have been rocking out on a few of the great CDs I have wanted to review since back before the temporary blindness.

And brothers and sisters, there have been some fine releases, including one kick ass Southern Rock record out of North Carolina, Preacher Stone, and a smoking debut from The Toler Townsend Band - yes, featuring Dangerous Dan Toler of Allman Brothers fame. Check out my reviews and check out their music.

By the way, did anyone else see Drive By Truckers on Austin City Limits last night? I just happened across it just as they were starting. Them boys and girls are always great!

Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

Well I missed them also. I did see Backdoor Slam about 3 am one morning. They ROCK. Dan Toler I have always like him. I will have to order Preacher Stone. Did you see Molly Hatchet has a new one coming and lastly Zac Browns live CD absolutly rocks. Reminds me of the old days when a band could play anything from Hendrix to Hank
