SEC Daily Fever: Vols' Brown cleared by the NCAA

Tennessee got a jolt of positive news when heralded recruit Bryce Brown was cleared by the NCAA.
The investigation seemed a little strange from the start as the NCAA probed some activities from summer camps when Brown was a high school sophomore. With this headache out of the way, the talented freshman runner can concentrate on becoming the face of Lane Kiffin’s rebuilding plan in Knoxville.
Obviously recruiting was the major goal of the new staff and pulling in the top-rated running back in the country was quite a coup. Much like he did as USC’s offensive coordinator, Kiffin will play freshman in order to show big-time recruits that they will see the field right away if good enough.
Look for Brown to be an integral part of the Vols offense from Day 1.
