Songs & Stories: An Allstar Memphis Benefit Show

On Sunday April 19, 2009, an allstar benefit show will take place at Minglewood Hall in Memphis. This show is not to be missed. The super-group includes Amy LaVere, Jim Dickinson, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Sid Selvidge, Steve Selvidge, Jimmy Crosthwait and Paul Taylor.
Proceeds from this stellar line-up will benefit True Story Pictures, a non-profit organization with a mission to document stories that educate, inspire and connect the local Memphis community. I spoke briefly with Amy LaVere today, and next week we will go on the record regarding this show. I also hope to speak with Mr. Dickinson in the coming week. Stay tuned...
