Time to Cowboy Up
Posted: Nov 19, 2008Yeeee hah! Legacy Recordings celebrates the 50th anniversary of the National Finals Rodeo with an absolutely killer boxed set of cowboy songs, old and new. This one really brought back memories of my old Roy Rogers guitar, playing in the back yard with my little black cowboy hat (never a white one!) and my six-shooter cap gun, and listening to The Sons of The Pioneers, Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys and Gene Autry on my parents' Sears console stereo.
