It's time once again to add a few more Vintage Gritz articles to the archives, and I hope you'll check 'em out for a "blast from the past." Added today is one of our first interviews from 1999 with Doug Gray of The Marshall Tucker Band, who talks about where the band was at as we moved into the new century. There is also an interview from 1999 with bluegrass mandolin master Ricky Skaggs who was just releasing his gospel CD Soldier of The Cross.
I have re-posted my lists of The Top CDs of 2000 and the Top CDs of 2001, and J.C. Juanis' excellent memorial to John Lee Hooker.
Relive the Celebration of Life show from St. Augustine, 2001, with Artimus Pyle and Friends, and the First Annual Great Molly Hatchet Give Away from that same year. We have also unearthed my essay on our trip to Tampa for the 2004 Angelus Benefit.
I hope you enjoy the Vintage material. We will be adding more in weeks to come. Meanwhile...
Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

The Hatchet contest sounds like it was fun. You should have another one. Or do it with Skynyrd or Tucker!
