Dixie Tabernacle  Comes Down to Love (Goad)
NASHVILLE - Dixie Tabernacle is a project put together by Nashville producer/musician/songwriter Larry Goad. This track features the one and only Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) on lead vocals and sax, as well as Artimus Pyle (Lynyrd Skynyrd) on congas. Larry Goad , Doug Phelps, and Bruce Pearson have been huddled in Abbey Goad Studio cutting basic tracks for the second Dixie tabernacle CD.

 Bekka Bramlett  I’ve Got News for You (Stampley/Dae/Stampley)
NASHVILLE - Bekka, the daughter of Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett steps out front after singing backup for Faith Hill, Kenny Loggins and many others with a great new album produced by Joe Stampley. This is the title track from the release I Got News for You.

Swampdawamp  Lady  (Manna/Tatum)
CHARLOTTE - One of the fastest rising new bands on the Southern Rock scene, Swampdawamp just returned from The Simple Man Cruise where they stood side by side with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and The Outlaws. Their new album Rock This Country features this track, their new single “Lady.”

Caroline Aiken  Inside Out  (Aiken/Mo)
ATLANTA- Caroline Aiken has established herself as one of the finest voices on Southern music. Independent to the bone with seven CDs, and a Grammy nomination for a Contemporary Folk CD in 2006, Caroline Aiken has done numerous performances to benefit thousands of causes, and has recorded with and shared stages with artists like The Indigo Girls and Bonnie Raitt. On this song, Caroline performs with the Atlanta based band Doghouse. This song was co-written with Moses Mo of Mother's Finest.  http://www.carolineaiken.com/

Russell Gulley   Love L.U.S.T. Love  (Gulley)

MUSCLE SHOALS -Russell was a member of MSS/Capitol recording act, Jackson Highway back in 1980, a southern rock group nurtured by Jimmy Johnson and David Hood of the Muscle Shoals Sound Recording Studios, the home of the Swampers. Gulley is now back at Johnny Neel’s Straight Up Sound in Nashville recording his second solo CD, with his brother and co-founder of Jackson Highway, Dennis back in the producer’s chair. He is joined by guitarist Chris Anderson of the Outlaws on resonator, Johnny Neel on harp, and rounding things out, Russell’s stage partner, guitarist Doug “Blind Willie” Jones. 


Christine Ohlman  Bring it with You When You Come (Ohlman)
NEW YORK - "Honorary Southern Girl” Christine "The Beehive Queen" grew up loving equally the sweetness of a Memphis horn line and the sounds of Muddy Waters, Keith Richards, or Pop Staples. She’s the current, long-time vocalist with the Saturday Night Live Band, who sang at SNL’s 25th Anniversary telecast, Bob Dylan's 30th Anniversary bash at The Garden, the Obama Inaugural Gala, and the Central Park Summerstage Tribute To Janis Joplin. Her latest album The Deep End features special guests Ian Hunter, Dion DiMucci, Levon Helm, GE Smith, Marshall Crenshaw, and many more.

Joe Pitts  Lowdown, Mean & Dirty (Pitts/Davis)
LITTLE ROCK - Powerhouse and multi-talented guitarist Joe Pitts has been compared to guitarists like Warren Haynes, Larry McCray and Walter Trout. Although his influences range from Duane Allman and Jeff Beck to Roy Buchanan, Joe is becoming known worldwide for his slide guitar work. From funk to jazz to blues to rock, and everything in between, Joe is a musician's musician. This song is the lead track on his latest album One More Day.

Rebel Pride Girls Just Wanna Dance (Jeffries/Buffo)
TAMPA - Rebel Pride is a Southern flavored,Americana Rock-n-Roll Band from the West Coast of Florida that plays what they call “hard rocking traditional Southern flavored, Americana Rock-n-Roll with a kick.” This track is from their latest album. Rhythm Pigs  Red Rock Road (Rhythm Pigs) (Recorded Live)

NORFOLK - The Virgina based Pigs have been playing Southern Rock and blues for over ten years, and have boasted an all-star lineup that has at times included folks like Jay Johnson (Blackfoot/SRA) and Dave Hlubek (Molly Hatchet). The Rhythm Pigs play dead on covers of SOuthern Rock classics as well as originals. The band has shared stages around the country with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Charlie Daniels, Blackfoot and many more.www.rhythmpigs.com

Trey Harris  Victims of Southern Rock  (Harris)
NASHVILLE - Trey Harris grew up in Upstate, South Carolina, which explains his love of The Marshall Tucker Band. Now he pays tribute to the late Toy Caldwell (along with Skynyrd and the Allmans) with a heartfelt tune that actually features founding MTB member Paul Riddle on drums. The song also features former MTB members Rusty Milner, Tim Lawter and Ronald Radford.

HOLLYWOOD, FL- Are they a band or are they a Society that embraces and promotes all things Southern Rock? Well, they are both. They are  genuine Southern Rockers who play Southern Rock music, as well as, promote other bands and Southern Rock events. “Don’t Quit Love” is a fine example of the SRS’s music.
