Those first five MTB albums still sound fresh to these ears as the day that I first heard Take The Highway on WNEW-FM. I first saw the Tucker boys when they opened for Steve Miller at the Felt Forum in NY. I forget what year it was, but The Joker just came out. That night the MT boys brought out Charlie Daniels to saw on the fiddle for 24 Hours at a Time and Blue Ridge Mountain Sky. It just don't get no better than that. Long Live The Marshall Tucker Band !!!!!
