For those of us who have followed Donna Hall as backup singer for Wet Willie since the early 70’s, this one has been a long time coming. Like the title says, “It’s never too late.” - not only for a walk with God, as the lyric suggests, but also never too late to release a debut solo album.
Donna turns in a magnificent release, highlighted by an array of top of the line musicians, including brothers Jimmy and Jack Hall and all the rest of her Wet Willie mates. Hot tracks include “Don’t Mess Up A Good Thing” and a nice cover of Little Feat’s Oh Atlanta.” Smokin.’ Donna rocks.
