One of my all time favorite songs during the seventies was "Please Be With Me" by Cowboy, a song I first heard on the Duane Allman Anthology album, which led me to a lifetime love of the music of Cowboy. So it was with great excitement and anticipation that I first met Tommy Talton and Scott Boyer at the Boyer Benefit in Florence, Alabama.
Both guys are true gentlemen, and both possess vast amounts of musical talent. In the near future we will spotlight Scott Boyer, but right now we are pleased to present an interview with Tommy Talton, in which he talks about his early bands, including We The People, hooking up with Boyer to form Cowboy, playing on the Gregg Allman Tour in '74, and the upcoming Cowboy reunion.
Talton is an amazing talent, and a hell of a fun and funny guy to interview. Check out the interview by clicking here.
Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

I knew Tommy T. back in his Central Fla. pre-Cowboy days and through his 'Capricorn' period. Without a doubt, he's one of the nicest, friendly people one could hope to ever meet. I'm really looking forward to the Talton/Boyer reunion album. Tommy, if you're reading this...thanks for giving me a place to crash/sleep back when you were playing The Blue Gypsy Coffee House in Winter park.
