Stanley Booth arrives! (Fiction & Southern Pro Football too!)

Posted: Aug 21, 2007

Swampland is honored that esteemed Southern writer, Stanley Booth, has contributed one of his classic pieces "The King Is Dead! Hang The Doctor!" to James Calemine's Mystery and Manners.  On the 30th Anniversary of Elvis's death, there is no better piece of writing about the controversy and emotion surrounding the death itself.

Swampland would also like to announce another addition to the Mystery and Manners page.  We now have a separate dedicated Fiction section.  Brother James Calemine is a prolific writer who has shared two fine works of short fiction with the Swampland audience.  We can count on more to come.

On a final note, Swampland is pleased to announce the return of Southern Pro Football!.  SPF existed as a radio show, a podcast, and a blog last season.  This season we are stepping up the blogging front.  There will be more to come on this front as football season progresses...
