North Carolina native Jonathan Wilson's long-awaited second studio album--Gentle Spirit--will be released in July 2011 according to his website where the new songs can be heard. Wilson's new material resonates a quiet, soulful mood that does not disappoint.
Wilson is currently playing with Robbie Robertson. Wilson has collaborated with Chris Robinson, Gary Louris, Elvis Costello, Jonathan Rice, The Watson Twins, Jenny Lewis, Vetiver and many others since he moved to California years ago.
Wilson played every instrument on his amazing debut album Frankie Ray. He counts as a musican of the highest order. Stay tuned,
