Expanded James Brown Exhibit Opens To Public
Artifacts from the Godfather of Soul James Browns' estate are now on display at the Augusta Museum of History in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. The expanded exhibit opened to the public on Thursday.
Brown died in 2006, and legal troubles have haunted his family since then. Brown items displayed in the exhibit--ranging from 1970-2006--include jewelry, sunglasses, guitars, drums, keyboards, boots and a red outfit Brown wore at his last Augusta concert.
It's good to see Brown's hometown accepts his influence after all these years. Then, of course, there's always the music...
