Allman Brothers Announce 2007 Beacon Run

The Allman Brothers Band have announced their traditional New York City run at Beacon Theatre, announcing 13 late-March shows.

The band's Beacon run will begin on March 22nd and will run through early April before stopping in Florida for two shows in mid-March, which is expected to lead to a bigger national tour.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers began their Beacon tradition in 1989 and have performed there over 160 times since.

Besides treating the audience to various sets each night, the band has made it a tradition to bring in unannounced special guests to sit in and jam on any given evening.
