Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires Release New Song, Album Coming Soon
Posted: Jan 25, 2012Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires have been bubbling under the Birmingham scene since Bains cut his teeth playing with Dexateens. With the Dexateens now in a state of semi-retirement, Bains and his band The Glory Fires are picking up the slack.
With the expected drop date of their debut album on Alive Records set for sometime this spring, the band has released a new song on the new Alive compilation Where Is Parker Griggs? that you can listen to below courtesy of SoundCloud.
"Everthing That You Took" bodes well for the rest of the new album as it features a soulful rock vibe capturing Muscle Shoals' classic era. (It does not hurt that the song name drops Walker Percy either!)
