Indie Memphis Film Fest Opens Thursday

The four-day 14th annual Memphis Film Festival begins Thursday. The festival includes close to 50 screenings of narrative and documentary features, short-film programs, panels and music.
Films such as Undefeated, Where Soldiers Come From, Losers Take All, This Is What Love in Action Looks Like, Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory and from the Independent Lens series These Amazing Shadows will be screened.
The 35th Anniversary of Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver also serves as a featured film.
