Jim Dickinson's Search for Blind Lemon

On September 17, Mary Lindsay Dickinson will present words, photographs, films and music from her late husband's memoirs and discuss his legacy at The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Jim Dickinson passed away in August of 2009. He wrote a memoir titled The Search for Blind Lemon.

This event is presented in conjunction with the second Jim Dickinson Folk Festival held at the Levitt Shell on September 19. Sponsored by the Mike Curb Institute for Music at Rhodes College and the Memphis Music Foundation.
