Dr. John's Ongoing Voodoo...Tom Petty's Big Highway Companion Weekend on Radio...

The Tom Petty Highway Companion Big Weekend takes place on December 15-17 at 10AET on XM 200. The station will also broadcast rare live Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers performances. Petty also hosts a show called Buried Treasure on XM Satellite Radio set to resume soon.

Dr. John The Night Tripper cooks up his own musical gumbo in his hometown of New Orleans on December 28-29. Dr. John will perform on New Year's Eve at the First Congregation Church in Montclair, NJ. His tour dates continue through March 2007...of course the New Orleans Jazz Fest is right around the corner...
Dr. John, Mr. Mac Rebbenack, will surely perform songs from his latest release on Blue Note Records--an album of Johnny Mercer songs, Mercenary. More voodoo soon, James Calemine
