Delaney's Coming Soon to Swampland

I am very happy to report that GRITZ will soon present an all new interview with Southern music legend Delaney Bramlett. Delaney was one of the most important individuals in rock and roll during the sixties and seventies, working with everyone from Gram Parsons to Duane Allman, George Harrison and Eric Clapton, along with his then wife Bonnie Bramlett in Delaney & Bonnie & Friends.

Today, Delaney has a brand new blues album just out, which we will be reviewing later this week, and man oh man, is it ever good.

As a prelude to our interview, we'd like to share a couple of YouTube videos. The first one serves as an introduction to Delaney, while the second one is a performance from TV in 1969 that features Delaney & Bonnie with Eric Clapton, Dave Mason and Bobby Whitlock.

We are really excited about this one folks, and have all of our questions ready. It should be great fun. Stay tuned.
