Big House Foundation Need Your Help

I am pleased to announce that I will be a VIP guest of 550 Blues at the January 13th dinner for the Big House Foundation. This is a wonderful group of people (spearheaded by our friends Kirk and Kirsten West) who are working to preserve the famed Big House, long time home of The Allman Brothers Band, in Macon, Georgia. The home is being turned into the ultimate Allman Brothers Museum, and we are happy to support the project 100 percent. Please check out their website and support them in any way possible. SOUTHERN ROCK NEW YEAR'S EVE
There will be a great Southern Rockin' New Years Eve concert at the Leitersburg Theatre in Hagerstown, MD. Headlining the evening will be the Ghost Riders Band featuring former and founding members of The Outlaws, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Pure Prarie League, The Henry Paul Band and The Knack. Special autograph appearance by Lynyrd Skynyrd band family member Gene Odom. Gene grew up with the band members and later became head of security for Skynyrd as well as The Rolling Stones and Molly Hatchet.Gene is a survivor of that fateful plane crash in 1977 and the author of the book: Lynyrd Skynyrd: Remembering the Freebirds of Southern Rock, on the Random House imprint.
