Big & Rich and Brad Paisley enjoyed having the top country song and album on Billboard for the week ending July 21 with "Lost In This Moment" and " 5th Gear" respectively.
On the song chart, Big & Rich notched their first career number one at the expense of last week's chart topper, "Lucky Man," by Montgomery Gentry, which slipped to third. George Strait remained second with "Wrapped." Keith Urban stayed fifth with "I Told You So," while Kenny Chesney kept the fifth spot with "Never Wanted Nothing More."
Tim McGraw's duet with Faith Hill," I Need You," climbed 3 spots to 10th. Another duet, Reba McEntire's with Kelly Clarkson "Because Of You," was up 3 to 12th. Brooks & Dunn was a big mover with "Proud of the House We Built," jumping 6 spots to 17th. Toby Keith's second single from "Big Dog Daddy," "Love Me If You Can," moved up 5 to 19th.
Rascal Flatts debuted in 24th with "Take Me There," the first single from their next album out in September.
On the album chart, the top nine spots remained the same. That means Keith's "Big Dog Daddy" was second, Taylor Swift's self-titled debut third, Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" fourth and Big & Rich's "Between Raising Hell And Amazing Grace" fifth.
On the overall top 200 chart, Paisley was 7th, Keith 16th, Swift 18th, Underwood 26th and Big & Rich 30th.
