With great pride Swampland.com presents this in-depth interview with Kirk West. West plays an integral role in the Allman Brothers Band organization. West began taking photographs in his youth. In the 70s and 80s West snapped photos of hundreds of diverse musicians including Buddy Guy, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Albert Collins. His photographic instincts led him to the Allman Brothers camp.
West oversees The Big House Foundation, Hittin The Note magazine and serves as tour mystic for the Allman Brothers. His photos remain a staple in the Allman Brothers artwork. In this exclusive interview Kirk talks about a plethora of subjects in his own humorous and hard-truth manner. I'd like to send out a personal thanks to Mr. West for his time, cooperation and talent. We'll see him down the road, but for now click here to read the Swampland interview. Out on the Lost Highway,
