Last weekend the Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD) along with the National Cartoonists Society hosted a tribute to MAD magazine. MAD originated in 1952. Cartoonists such as Al Jaffee, Sergio Aragones and Jack Davis all attended the MAD reunion.
John Lowe, SCAD's communication of arts dean, said the MAD reunion contained "roughly 400 years worth of comic book experience in one place."
