Levon Helm announced upcoming Midnight Rambles that begin this weekend and will continue until the week before Christmas. For this round of Rambles, Helm invited Ralph Stanley and his Clinch County Boys, Dawes, Hook Herrerra, The Mastersons, Jimmy Vivino and others. Helm's Barn serves as his residence and studio where many a stellar musical night elapsed. Folks always bring a covered dish for the community table...
On November 18, Helm and his band will perform at the Ulster Performing Arts Center for "Shelter From The Storm". Special guests on that evening include Donald Fagan, Natalie Merchant, John Medeski, Chris Wood and more to be announced. I mean, just Ralph Stanley...
