Bobby Keys Band In Nashville
Texas native Bobby Keys played saxophone for The Rolling Stones, Leon Russell, Joe Cocker, George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Delaney & Bonnie recently assembled a band that he showcased last night in Nashville.
The group consists of Keys, The Black Crowes' drummer Steve Gorman, The Georgia Satellites' Dan Baird (guitar & vocals), Michael Webb (keys), Robert Kearns (bass) and Chark Kinsolving (lead guitar).
Last night the band played The Mercy Lounge. Some of the evening's setlist included "Live With Me" (Stones), "The Letter" (Mad Dogs & Englishmen), "Sweet Virginia" (Stones), 'Bitch" (Stones), "Soul Serenade" (King Curtis), "Brown Sugar" (Stones), "Whatever Gets You Through The Night" (John Lennon) and "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" (Stones).
