Sparklehorse Songwriter Gone At 47

Sad news to report…Sparklehorse songwriter Mark Linkous died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest on Saturday in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Virginia born songwriter was 47. Linkous drifted into dark boundaries at times, which is probably why his music resonated on different levels for so many people. Linkous was reportedly working on a new Sparklehorse album at the time of his death. The flag flies at half-mast…
