Van Zant Working On New Album
Posted: Jan 28, 2007 Van Zant recently began recording the follow-up to their gold-certified country debut, "Get Right with the Man."Produced by Mark Wright and Justin Niebank, the new disc will feature several tracks bearing the duo's writing credit. The first single is scheduled for late March, with an in-store date for the yet-unnamed album late summer/early fall.
Donnie Van Zant is a member of 38 Special, while Johnny Van Zant is lead singer for Lynyrd Skynyrd. Both are brothers of the late Ronnie Van Zant, original singer for Skynyrd. Van Zant had recorded two rock oriented albums prior to signing with Sony Music. -Buffalo
