Luther Dickinson: The Hardest Working Man In Rock And Roll

Luther Dickinson’s latest project—The South Memphis String Band—will release a debut album on January 19, titled Home Sweet Home. The South Memphis String Band—Dickinson, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Jimbo Mathus—adhere to a earthy musical ethos steeped in traditional string music played by their heroes such as The Memphis Jug Band, Gus Cannon, Fred McDowell and the Mississippi Sheiks. I look forward to hearing Home Sweet Home for review.
