Potato Hole Nominated For 2 Grammys & 2010 Trucker Tour Dates

 

Booker T. Jones’ latest album, Potato Hole, received nomination for 2 Grammys. The Drive By Truckers served as the back-up band on the album. While the Truckers were touring, Marc Ford served as Jones’ guitarist along with various other talented musicians. It’s good to see Booker T in the spotlight and continuing to make great music.

The Drive By Truckers have announced their 2010 tour dates. I plan to attend the January 14 gig in Athens. Bloodkin will open for The Truckers, and I anticipate high-powered fun, and an interesting article from this evening’s proceedings.
