Tuesday Review: Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel

Look up "icon" in the dictionary and you are liable as not to find a picture of Willie Nelson. Always a favorite here at GRITZ, Nelson has played virtually every type of music with a plethora of great musicians.

Now he makes good on a plan he made over 30 years ago with the late Jerry Wexler. The two had spoken of a Texas swing record and for whatever reason it never came to pass. That us until now. Willie joins Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel for a killer swing set. Check out the review, penned by Derek Halsey.
