Kirk West In The Big House
In the next two weeks I will interview Kirk West for the second volume of our interview series. Kirk oversees The Big House in Macon, Georgia, the magazine Hittin’ the Note and he serves as The Tour Mystic for The Allman Brothers Band. Kirk also contends as a great photographer. He’s been taking photos since the 70s, and he’s assembled quite a photographic arsenal.
Since 1993, Kirk and his wife Kirsten have run The Big House, an organization dedicated to preserving a home and history for The Allman Brothers. I wrote for Hittin The Note for years, and I always worked with Kirk, but one of our classic times together was a Marc Ford show in San Francisco two years ago.
In this latest interview, Kirk and I will discuss—among other things—the latest news and events surrounding the venerable Big House in Macon. He’s a great interview, and this one should be just as insightful as the last. Stay tuned. Here’s Volume 1…
