Big 12 Daily Fever: Could Bradford Return In 2010?
Posted: Oct 23, 2009There was much debate last winter on whether Oklahoma's Sam Bradford should enter the NFL Draft. He had won the Heisman Trophy, and many thought he would be the #1 pick overall ahead of UGA quarterback Matt Stafford.
Of course, Bradford chose to return to Norman and try to lead the Sooners to a National Championship. His injury in the the first game of the season crushed those dreams and had national media members second guessing his decision.
As Bradford now ponders season-ending surgery, another interesting decison will arise: would he be better off entering the Draft now or returning for a healthy (hopefully) season with the Sooners?
ESPN's Todd McShay says he thinks the OU signal caller sould think long and hard about returning to the college gridiron. That move might make more long term sense, but it would shock many observers in the sports world.
Much like last year's decision, only Bradford can decide what's best for him, and we wish him well in his recovery.
