A free streaming website called Wolfgang's Vault now offers a rare 1974 Dylan and The Band concert. The 2-hour performance was recorded on February 14, 1974 in Los Angeles. This concert can now be downloaded directly from the site.
1974 served as the last year Dylan and The Band toured together. These shows generally were held at large stadiums that left both Dylan and The Band feeling a bit hollow at the lack of intimacy. However, they recorded some great tunes...some of which emerged on the Before The Flood live album. 74 also marked the year the venerable Basement Tapes were released. This latest show proves interesting to hear.
