Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman has made an interesting decision in moving his leading receiver, Ryan Tannehill, to backup quarterback. Hopefully, the Aggies will find enough playmakers at wideout to compenstate for Tannehill's team-leading 55 catches and 844 receiving yards a season ago.

Coming off a 4-8 initial campaign, Sherman needs a solid sophomore season to instill confidence in a fan base that has seen their once-proud program slip to the bottom of the Big 12 South.

Moving a quality starter to a backup role is a risky move, and it is one that will be questioned heavily if the Aggies do not imporve in 2009.
