Now living in California, North Carolina-native, Jonathan Wilson's latest news revolves around a couple of tunes he put up on his website. Wilson recently performed at Princeton University as well as various shows back in June. I anticipate hearing his latest CD-Gentle Spirit-but there's no official word on a release date.
Wilson's songwriting and deft picking render him a sought after session man for folks such as Elvis Costello, Gary Louris, Jenny Lewis, Chris Robinson, Vetiver and various other musicians. His CD Frankie Ray stands as a classic, not to mention he played every instrument on the disc.
