Hank William's, Jr's Best Album in Years, New Scrapbook Pics Lynyrd Skynyrd 1971

Posted: Jul 21, 2009

After eleven years of listening to new CD releases in country and Southern Rock I admit I have become somewhat jaded. It takes something really special to stop me in my tracks. Well campers, that is exactly what happened with the new release from the living legend Hank Williams, Jr 127 Rose Avenue. In a word, "wow!" Check out my review here.

Derek Halsey has turned in a pair of reviews on the new Mike Farris (Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies) and the new John Scofield. Check 'em out.

Our Legends of Southern Rock Photo Scrapbook salutes 1971 with some cool never before seen pictures of Lynyrd Skynyrd in Jacksonville and Marshall Tucker that same year. Also, a shot of Gregg Allman sitting in with Eric Quincy Tate, Cool stuff. Let us know how you like it.

Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.
