Evening,

Cody Dickinson and I missed one another for our interview today, so we re-scheduled it for next Tuesday. Nonetheless, reviews of Stax Record’s re-issues of In Session-Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Isaac HayesHot Buttered Soul, and Ray CharlesModern Sounds of Country & Western Music will begin to appear tomorrow. Lord willin' and the creek don't rise...

Next week will be a literary week at Mystery And Manners with stories from Stanley Booth, Diann Blakely and a couple other wild cards to be announced later. Keep Paul Hemphill in your prayers…

So, summer is here…the festivals are about to commence—all our favorites like The Black Crowes, Widespread Panic, The Allman Brothers, The Drive By Truckers, Bloodkin, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, The Derek Trucks Band and many others hit the road. A long-brewing part two interview with Dust To Digital’s Lance Ledbetter looms on the immediate horizon. Many a story to be told…no more previews…time flies like an arrow. Until tomorrow,

James Calemine
