A New Aretha Franklin Album Due In Early 2007

"The Queen of Soul', Aretha Franklin, readies her latest CD, Aretha: A Woman Falling Out of Love. The album is set for release in early 2007 on her own Aretha's Records. Born in Memphis, Franklin grew up in Detroit--where she now resides and the location of this latest recording occurred. Her vocal range created legendary R & B, soul, and gospel records. Guest appearances on Franklin's new CD includes gospel stars Shirley Ceasar, Karen Clark-Sheard, and The Clarke Sisters. Country star Faith Hill also sings a duet with Franklin on A Woman Falling Out of Love.
Franklin's duet with Mary J. Blige contends for The Golden Globe's best original song in the motion picture "Bobby".   James Calemine
