In light of the Black Crowes' new release, Warpaint, I thought it might be interesting to put up this old article the jackdaw of perception--Chris Robinson--wrote for The New Musical Express in 1993. In this classic article Robinson writes about The Crowes' music, their influences, intentions, theories & practices, as well as other insights into the group at the time. It's amazing how not much has changed in 15 years since he wrote this interesting screed.
