Emmylou Harris Retrospective "Songbird" Hits Streets Today

A new Emmylou Harris, 4 CD-1 DVD, retrospective was released today. This collection of "personal favorites" covers her career and highlights Wrecking Ball, Stumble Into Grace, All the Roadrunning, and Red Dirt Girl sessions that include dark horse songs and unreleased material.

Some of the duets on Songbird include Emmylou singing with Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Steve Earle. Most of these recordings have never been heard.

Emmylou is currently working on a new album. Word on the street says Emmylou will film a show for the BBC at The Derby in Los Angeles, California, tomorrow--September 19, 2007.
