In efforts to rebuild the venerable Georgia Theatre
, the Avett Brothers will perform at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia, on March 29. David Barbe spearheads the University of Georgia’s Music Business School that generates these charitable shows. On February 13th, the Avett Brothers performed with Bob Dylan for a Grammys performance.
Athens musician Don Chambers and his band GOAT will perform at the fabulous 40-Watt in Athens on March 5 to help rebuild the Georgia Theatre. Stay tuned for an update from the owner of the Georgia Theatre, Wilmot Greene.
