It’s almost time again for one of our favorite events of the year. The Winters Brothers Band will host their 29th Annual Southern Summer Jam on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the family's farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. Every year it is a blast, and last year’s sets and end jam were all phenomenal.
This year’s guests include Billy Hester, Ricky Campbell, The Southern Belles, Uncle Zack Tucker, Billy Terry, Charlie Marie, Mike Greenwood, Sweetwater, Michael Buffalo Smith, Greg Jones, ICARUS and Atomic Boogie. Once again Donnie Winters will be on hand as a special guest. Donnie will be picking with me, among other jams. Oh, and come out to meet Europe's number one Southern Rock fan, Southern George!
Gates open at 4 pm, and the music starts at 5 pm. General Admission is just $10.00 for adults, teens 13 - 17 $5.00 and 12 and under get in FREE.
As always, BBQ plates will be made available. Bring your lawnchairs, blankets and coolers for this kid friendly fest. No pets allowed, please.

The countdown is on. See you on June 14th.
Keep It Real. Keep it Southern.

Their debut LP is still one of my all time favorites. Why are Dennis and Donnie both alive and kicking but Donnie is not in the band? There's on excuse for that. Donnie is the hot guitarist and Dennis is the show.
