I've never really been a Skynyrd fan, but I am a fan of bassist Tim Lindsey. I saw him perform with Molly Hatchet at Rumble on Noble (Anniston, AL) a couple of years ago and got to hang out with him for awhile after the show. I play bass myself so we had a great talk about music and gear. He's a real talent and one of the friendliest guys I've ever met.

Thank you Buffalo for this collection of Skynyrd info. I plan on spending hours going thru all of the articles. I saw this band 36 years ago for the first time and to this day I still think they are one of the greatest bands of all time. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to a song or two of theirs on my ipod or at least hum a song while I'm working. I am fortunate to have collected many live shows of Skynyrd over the years. Sometimes on a weekend night, I will get me a little Jack in a glass and put on one of those old shows and set back and enjoy the show. I love to listen for Ronnie talking during the songs and to hear Mr. Billy Powell on piano. I still hope before they quit, that they rent the Fox in Atlanta, play two or three night, record everything on CD/DVD and call it "One last time from time from the road". And I hope Gary hits all of those nasty notes on the first of "Tuesday's Gone" like he hit on the original Fox album. That was some great playing. Those would sure be a few special nights and I hope I'm there to see it. Thanks again for this fine collection, you out did yourself! Gus
