Lord what a gift we have had in Bonnie Bramlett. Growing up in Wichita I remember Delaney & Bonnie & Friends came to town once on tour and later I could have brained myself for not going to see them. I was listening to Alice Cooper for heaven's sake! I finally inherited a copy of "Motel Shot" from my brother and that was all it took- that was like an epiphany for me. Later I heard Bonnie singing "Superstar" and just fell in love with her; like most kids I'd only heard Karen Carpenter's take. Bonnie just always seemed to be surrounded by wonderful musicians; so much love and cooking came out. I'm so glad she's continued to perform and record. Bonnie if you ever read this I sure hope you'd consider coming to perform at Knucklehead's in Kansas City. We love you!- Shane Smith
